Beautiful, unique resin accented 60 hole cherry cribbage boards. We try to pick out our most interesting pieces of cherry - distinct grain patterns, curls, knots. Each board is sold with a set of solid metal pins, the colors of which you can choose on purchase (brass, gold, chrome, or black). There are small silicone pads on the back to help prevent sliding around (or in some cases, backed fully with cork), and it comes with a small burlap sack big enough for a pack of cards and the pegs. These cribbage boards are small enough to travel with you and large enough to use comfortably. For a small additional charge we can add a matching bottom to the board giving you the ability to store the cards and pegs inside of the cribbage board, held together by some strong magnetic clasps, turning it into a true travel cribbage board.

This listing covers some of the different kinds of cherry 60 point cribbage boards we've made and have in stock. Cherry is a warm, reddish wood that is beautifully accented with blues and greens. We'll find some of the best wood pieces, cut them down to size, then arrange them in their mold for pouring. Then the cribbage board's epoxy resin river is hand poured, mixed, and poked at until we like how it looks. They're sanded, the holes are machined, hand sanded and polished, and finally we lacquer each one to bring out the color and protect the wood.

No two boards are identical, and can be so surprisingly unique that the board you pick will literally be the board in the listing photo and once it's sold, it'll be removed.

This is a two track board, however we are happy and able to add tracks (i.e. a three track or four track) for custom orders.

Looking for a custom cribbage board? We can absolutely do custom coloration/wood combinations as well as add small engravings to the custom cribbage boards. The mica infused epoxy resin takes on a life of its own and can present some pretty amazingly unique results. Each cribbage board is approximately 10x4 inches.

    Care instructions

This is critically important. Wood cutting boards must never EVER be put in a dishwasher, or completely submerged in water. It's OK to run some lukewarm water and soap over them to wash off stubborn or greasy issues, but they must then be completely dried and oiled with mineral oil again to prevent warping or cracking. Never let a cutting board sit in water - it's common to put a hand towel under the board while using it. It's very easy to see when water damage happens because it will bow - at that point it might be repairable, but it's more likely to be ruined. Do not use organic oils like vegetable/canola/coconut/etc to oil the board. It will start smelling rancid as those oils break down. Use only food grade mineral oil.

    Fixing a cutting board

First, if the problem is water damage (bowing, bad cracking) it's likely that the board has been ruined. Constantly keeping the board oiled and waxed will help eliminate this problem.

If a cutting board has lots of scratches and mars on it, grab some 180 grit sandpaper and sand the surface as evenly as you can until the scratches are gone. Then, oil it heavily (letting it puddle on top for an hour or so), wipe off and dry, then wax using beeswax. Home Depot/Lowes/etc carry basic mixes that can help with this process.

If a cutting board has split or is cracking at a lamination point, it likely was heated up or water damage. These boards are not meant for use as hot pads, and if they get over 160 degrees the resin can start to melt.
